Rugging classes are taught one on one with attention to detail.

Rugging Class Requirements
* All hides must be already tanned
* Students supply their own tanned hides
* Hides are available for sale upon request
* All classes are taught sewing not gluing of the rug
There are two rugging class options to choose from:
Option #1 is a full taxidermy and rugging class. This class is designed to teach rugging from start to finish.
Option #2 is a rugging for taxidermist class. This class is designed for taxidermists to learn how to sew and produce a commercial quality rug in their own shop.
Option #1: Full Taxidermy and Rugging School
* This rugging class is designed to teach rugging from start to finish. For someone starting there own retail or wholesale rugging business.
* This rugging class is 14 days not including weekends
* You will rug 1 large and 1 small skin (example being 1 bear or cougar for your large and 1 bobcat or raccoon for your small).
* All rug shells and materials are included in the price except skins
* We will go over sewing machines, materials needed and pinking machine
What you will learn in class:
* Rehydrating skin and measuring for rug shell
* Demonstration on rug shell prep work, loading rug shell, sewing and stitching
* Prepping rug shell eyes, nose etc.
* Loading of rug shell
* Sewing of arms pits and holes
* Stretching and trimming
* Measure for materials
* Assembling materials (felt, batting, backing etc.)
* Sewing materials to skin
* Detailing mouth, nose, eyes etc.

Option #2: Rugging Class for Taxidermist
* This rugging class is designed for taxidermists to learn how to sew and produce a commercial quality rug in their shop.
* This rugging class is 10 days not including weekends
* You will rug 1 large and 1 small skin (example being 1 bear or cougar for your large and 1 bobcat or raccoon for your small).
* All materials are included in the price except for rug shells and skins
* We will go over sewing machines, materials needed and pinking machine
What you will learn in class:
* Must have rug shell already loaded
* Rehydrating of skin
* Sewing arm pits and holes
* Stretching and trimming
* Measuring for materials
* Assembling materials (felt, batting, backing etc.)
* Sewing materials to skin
